Our club nights and live gigs are at Brighton’s best venue the Komedia with large maple wooden dancefloor, air-con, and two late bars.

In the blink of an eye, thousands of guests dressed all in white arrive at a secret location for a chic picnic en masse—a global culinary phenomenon with “joie de vivre” and local flair!

What to wear – All white, of course! Think crisp linen, dreamy lace, bold accessories. This is your moment to shine. (Gold, silver, or nude accents are allowed – but keep it mostly en blanc!)

What to bring – According to Le Diner en Blanc tradition, guests bring* a folding table and chairs, a white tablecloth and cloth napkins, tableware, a gourmet meal for two, and a garbage bag. The most creative guests go all-out with decor!

Re-entry after Burning Man 2025 (into the default world)
Post-Playa Depression (PPD): Many Burners experience a period of emotional adjustment known as Post-Playa Depression (PPD) after the event.
Symptoms of PPD: Symptoms can include feeling disconnected from the default world, questioning the meaning of existence, difficulty with routine, a desire to maintain the playa's sense of community, and a longing to return to the playa.
Coping strategies:
Connect with fellow Burners: Staying in touch with your campmates and engaging in regional Burning Man events can help you maintain a sense of community, notes Reddit users.
Apply the principles: Integrate Burning Man's principles (radical self-reliance, gifting, communal effort, etc.) into your everyday life.
Start planning for the next Burn: Thinking about future involvement can help ease the transition.
Allow for decompression time: Give yourself time to process the experience and adjust back to normal life.
Decompress in a supportive environment: Consider spending time in a transitional location like Reno or nearby hot springs to ease the shock of returning to the default world.

Gormánuður is an annual New Jersey community festival sponsored by Vasa Park in partnership with Medieval Scenarios and Recreations, Inc and the Clan of the Raven. Costumes encouraged, not required. 😊
